I’ve always been drawn to shooting as a quiet observer. Most of the time, I’m a fly on the wall — letting moments unfold naturally rather than interrupting them. I gently guide when needed, but I leave space for movement, interaction, and the in-between moments that can’t be staged. I’m drawn to natural tones and organic textures, and I intentionally incorporate them into each session to reflect how deeply motherhood, nature, and new life are intertwined.
AN OBSERVATIONAL, ARTISTIC APPROACH
My editing style is equally intentional. I love creamy, true-to-life skin tones, rich contrast, and black and whites that hold emotional weight. I often shoot through soft foreground blur or use artistic techniques that create depth and subtle motion, giving each image a layered, immersive quality. The result is a body of work that feels honest, atmospheric, and deeply alive.

When labor begins, I am on-call to capture the full arc of your birth with care and discretion, preserving the power, tenderness, and first moments that change everything.

Each session includes time in the screened porch studio and in the indoor milk-bath space, offering two distinct but complementary settings. Designed for baby-only or mama-and-me portraits, these sessions are calm, intimate, and intentionally created to honor motherhood with softness and depth. Sessions include flowers & styling.

All offerings reflect starting rates and are thoughtfully tailored to each client. Final pricing may vary depending on location, scope, and any custom elements requested.
PACKAGES
Think in layers, movement, and tone. I prefer to photograph soft, neutral palettes, rich textures, and silhouettes that photograph well in natural light. Matchy-matchy tends to look dated, so be sure to give everyone their own personal style. I happily provide styling assistance when requested — I might even have some options for you to borrow!
What should be worn for a session?
My travel radius is within 30-minutes of the city of Richmond, VA. I am not currently accepting out-of-town sessions. My studio is located off Forest Hill Avenue.
Do you travel?
I typically book 2–4 weeks in advance for portraits, and 3-6 months for births. However, I always welcome last-minute magic when possible.
